From Least to More Expensive

 

Polyethylene or Polypropylene:

$0.27/L ($1/USG) mid-sized

$0.34/L ($1.30/USG) for small, large or specialty shapes

 

Buried Polyethylene or Polypropylene:

$0.40/L ($1.50/USG) for 1,500 USG size

$0.79/L ($3/USG) for smaller sizes

 

Corrugated Steel:

$0.75/L ($2.85/USG) for < 35,000 USG sizes

$0.31/L  ($1.16/USG) over 35,000 USG sizes

 

 Pre-cast Concrete:

$0.37/L ($1.40/USG) for 1,500 USG size

$0.66/L ($2.50/USG) for smaller sizes

 

 

Poured in-place Concrete:

This type of tank is not possible in some locations.

$0.66/L ($2.50/USG) for standalone tank

$0.27/L ($1/USG) (ie. part of garage build requiring bulk concrete cost)
