What is Rainwater Harvesting?

Rainwater Harvesting can:

• alleviate stress on low yielding wells and groundwater reserves shared by many homes and businesses in high density areas
• be used untreated (but filtered) for outdoor irrigation and other approved non-potable uses ( see BC Building Code Non-Potable Rainwater System)
• be treated to potable standards following safe, standardized methods including proper filtering, treatment, backflow protection, and air gaps stages
